Your Instructor: Patrick Johnson
Patrick's practice focuses on the representation of residential and commercial property owners and managers throughout the State of North Carolina, as well as on real estate litigation, business litigation, commercial collections, contract review and drafting, and fair housing defense.
Patrick was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended college at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill before attending Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi. Patrick began his legal career as an associate attorney in a general practice firm in Clayton, North Carolina in October 2007, where he managed an active caseload and focused his practice on civil litigation and criminal defense. Patrick began practicing law in Raleigh, North Carolina with Brownlee Law Firm, PLLC in December 2012 as an associate attorney, and on December 1, 2015, Patrick joined Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC where he currently manages the firm’s Charlotte office. In July 2019, Patrick became licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and has extended his practice to clients in that state.
Patrick lives in the Charlotte area with his wife and their four children. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys playing golf, sports, and cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels.
