This webinar will focus on creating balance by supporting self-care, emotional wellness, and life at work. Attendees will explore practical strategies for managing priorities, building self-awareness, strengthening teamwork, and practicing empathic listening as leaders and team members. Attendees will leave with simple, actionable tools they can use to support themselves, their teams, and their residents.

John Sons serves as the Director of Training and Marketing Strategies for Burlington Capital Properties, where he oversees training and marketing for a diverse portfolio that includes HUD, LIHTC, Student, Privatized Military, Senior, Class A, and New Lease-up communities. With over 37 years of experience in the apartment industry, John began his career as an Activities Director and Part-time Leasing Agent while serving in the USAF. He is actively involved at both local and national levels, having previously served on the 2023/24 NAAEI Board of Directors. Currently, he is a member of the 2024/2025 NAAEI Program Administration/Curriculum Development Committee and the NAA Operations Committee, where he chairs the inaugural Mental Health Subcommittee. Additionally, John is the Co-Chair of the Education Subcommittee for the Bay Area Apartment Association (BAAA) and serves on the 2024/2025 BAAA Board of Directors. He is also a member of the NAAEI Faculty and a 2020 NAA Lyceum graduate. As a subject matter expert for NAA’s CALP and CAM designations, John is also certified as one of NAA’s Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health First Aid Instructors by the National Council for Mental Well Being. He frequently speaks and trains for various apartment associations across the country.

 


Stephanie Loyd brings over 18 years of experience in the multifamily industry with a strong background in corporate marketing, sales, training, and education. She is a CALP and CAM instructor, a national speaker, and the first-ever recipient of the NAA Rising Star Award. She is also a member of the NAAEI Faculty.

Currently, Stephanie is a National Sales Executive at Smart Apartment Data and serves as the Chair of the AANC Education Committee. She is a graduate of both the NAA Leadership Lyceum and AANC Leadership Lyceum programs. Stephanie is currently an Officer at Large for the National Suppliers Council and a member of the NAA Operations committee. Additionally, she is a certified instructor with the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, where she teaches Mental Health First Aid. Stephanie’s passion for helping others in the multifamily industry really sets her apart.
