Event Details

Whether you are a property manager or new to property management, this course provides in-depth training and expertise just for you! Earning CAM credentials gives you the skills to increase your community's net operating income; the knowledge to effectively manage an apartment community; and most importantly, the ability to achieve your property owners’ investment goals.

To obtain the CAM credential, candidates must complete the following:

  • Minimum of 12 months of onsite property management experience
  • Successful completion of all CAM coursework (totaling 40 hours)
  • Meet all examination standards within six (6) months of declaring candidacy

Meet the Instructors

Virginia Cummings has been in the multi-family industry for 13 years and is presently a Property Manager for Phillips Management Group. She specializes in leading under-performing properties to increase revenue and resident retention. Her favorite part of her job is training her teams to be prepared for growth and promotions.
Shana Golladay has been in property management for 18 years, starting as a Leasing Agent then a Community Manager for over 600 units, and now the Director of Education & Training for Blue Ridge Companies. Shana chaired the PTAA Education Committee for 10 years, and is a NAAEI Faculty Member. Shana has assisted over 200 associates earn a NAAEI credential in CALP, CAM, CAPS
Lavonne Johnson, a seasoned Property Manager with 20 years experience, has served as an industry leader in many regions in the Triangle, Triad, and Charlotte areas, NC and in Charleston, SC. She is an innovative professional whose passion is in mentoring, educating, and building capacity among leaders and emerging leaders dedicated to a career in Property Management. Lavonne is currently a Property Manager with Bridge Property Management.
Brandon Negron has almost 20 years of experience in our industry, with onsite roles from Leasing Professional to Executive Level. A Regional Manager with Landura Management Associates,  Brandon specializes in the re-positioning of distressed and underperforming assets. He has been teaching property financials courses at multiple associations throughout the country for the last eight years.
Terry Ragland has worked in the industry for 30 years at the property, regional and corporate levels. As Director of Management Services with Blue Ridge Companies she oversees multiple properties and focuses on generating third party business for the company. She teaches NAA designation classes across the state, serves as a Subject Matter Expert for the NAA Education Institute and serves nationally on NAAEI’s Curriculum Development Committee.
Ashley Vetter is responsible for initiating and managing sales and marketing strategies as Sales & Marketing Manager for Phillips Management Group. Ashley began her career as a leasing professional and has progressed through multiple leadership roles. Ashley serves as a member of the Employee Engagement Committee and Chair of PMG Ambassadors, a subcommittee which focuses on welcoming new team members to Phillips Management Group. 
Michelle Hill Hopkins over sees all Human Resources functions,  including payroll for Phillips Management Group.  She has over 20 years’ experience that spans from organizational start-ups to established organizations. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, compliance, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, HRIS implementations, training and development, and benefits administration
Stephanie Loyd CAM, CAS, NAAEI Faculty is known as refreshing and insightful and brings over 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry. She has extensive expertise on-site, in corporate marketing, sales, training, and education. Stephanie is a CALP and CAM instructor, a national speaker, and was the inaugural recipient of the NAA Rising Star Award. She currently serves as the AANC Education Committee Vice-Chair and is a NAA Leadership Lyceum program graduate. She currently serves as a National Sales Executive with J Turner Research.
